Didn’t read any last month (yet again!!!) so this is still on the list:
One Way – S.J. Morden
I have the eels book to start soon. From the Wainwright shortlists, Chris is reading Rebirding and I’m reading The Frayed Atlantic Edge and On the Red Hill.
It has some good reviews so far. I really liked both of those. Not a clue who will win yet, let alone who I think should win
I recently read Hemingway in Italy by Richard Owen and loved it. Fingers crossed the D. H. Lawrence one is as good.
I haven’t read any D. H. Lawrence, but he seems an interesting character. I hope it is good too.
Ooh I have Unofficial Britain, too. It looks a little more alarming than I’d first thought so one to read in the daytime, but fascinating. Happy reading! I finished 13 last month but two of them were really substantial non-fiction jobs.
I haven’t even read the blurb on it! Thank you. Did you make it down to Bournemouth in the end?
No, and won’t be for the foreseeable as we would have to use public transport and are just too nervous about it. Doing a video call with my cousin and aunty tomorrow at least!
That is completely understandable, Liz. Thank goodness for technology
