Had two books arrive courtesy of Quercus today:
Citizen Clem: A Biography of Atlee by John Bew
The Particle Zoo: The Search for the Fundamental Nature of Reality by Gavin Hesketh
Got Off The Map by Alistair Bonnett from the library
Got Caught by the River as a late, late birthday present
And bought:
Notes from Walnut Tree Farm by Roger Deakin
Sahara by Michael Palin
Around the World in 80 Days by Michael Palin
Full Circle by Michael Palin
I've been meaning to read the Michael Palin books for ages. But I'll also be very interested in your opinion on the Attlee book; I want to read a biography of him myself.
They were spotless soft cover ones. I have seen the series before, but at 50p each could't say no. The Atlee one was a complete surprise. Arrived in the post this morning
