    I’ve got a copy of Local, which in looking forward to. Even bought a map to go with it, with plans to explore my local area

      Thought I had replied to this earlier, but for some reason it hadn’t.
      I did look at the link he mentions to get a map centred on your house, but I think I have a 1:25000 map somewhere.

    How are you getting on with Local? I’m loving it, nearly finished it now. I had to work out where it was, of course. I’m thinking of doing the map thing I have to admit, as it would be quite an interesting one here in Birmingham!

      I am a quarter of the way through and really like it so far. I have read some of his others before, and like him as an author. Not entirely sure of the location, but I think that it is either Kent or Essex
